Manage shipping in your online store with Fraktjakt

During spring, we released a shipping integration in Kroconnect that makes it possible to book shipments via the delivery platform Fraktjakt in your WooCommerce store. This article briefly describes the features available in the integration and how to get started easily.

How the integration works

Fraktjakt already has a plugin on wordpress.org. However, this plugin will be retired going forward and it also lacks several of the features available in the integration we provide through Kroconnect. Here are some of the things that make it easy to manage shipping in your online store.

➤ Support for customer-controlled and store-controlled shipping

Fraktjakt offers two types of shipping logic – customer-controlled and store-controlled shipping. Customer-controlled shipping means that the shipping logic is configured in your Fraktjakt account. Store-controlled shipping means that the logic for pricing and availability is managed from WooCommerce. Our integration supports both options.

➤ Pickup points in the checkout

If you offer a shipping method where delivery is made to a pickup point, a dropdown is displayed in the checkout where the customer selects their preferred agent. Simple and convenient.

➤ Book shipments directly from Woo

When a new order comes into your store, you can easily book the shipment directly from WooCommerce, without having to log in to the Fraktjakt portal.

➤ Download and print shipping labels

Once the shipment is created, you can easily download and print the shipping label and other shipping documents directly from WooCommerce.

➤ Track the delivery

A tracking link and shipment ID for booked shipments are saved to the order in WooCommerce.

➤ Customs documents

Customs documents can be created for shipments outside the EU. These documents are saved to the order in WooCommerce.

Automatic printing of shipping documents

As an add-on service in Kroconnect, you can also enable automatic printing of shipping labels and other shipping documents. This allows you to create a workflow where your shipping documents are automatically printed when you dispatch an order.
