When you update the Kroconnect WooCommerce Connector plugin to version 2.13.0, you will find a new integration called Product fields in the Integrations panel. This integration was previously available as a separate plugin but is now part of the Kroconnect plugin.
Data fields for customs documents
In the settings, you can enable one or more of the fields Manufacturing country, Taric code, and Customs description. There is also an option to set a default value for each setting. This can be useful if, for example, you only sell products manufactured in Sweden. In that case, you do not need to specify the country of manufacture for each individual product – it will instead be fetched from the Default manufacturing country value.
Edit data on a product
When one or more product fields have been enabled, these fields are displayed under the Shipping tab when navigating to the edit page of an individual product in WooCommerce. The value entered on the product will override any default value set in the Product fields settings.
If you work with variable products, these fields are displayed within each respective variant.
Automatic transfer to Fraktjakt
If a product contains data from any of the fields available in the Product fields integration, this data will automatically be included when so-called Query requests are made to Fraktjakt’s servers. This is required if you sell to countries where customs declarations and other trade documents are needed. Fraktjakt has more information on how this works..
