What’s new at Kroconnect in April

During the month, we released new logic for how orders, products, and shipments can be mapped between systems. This allows us to offer more tailored workflows for each individual customer using Kroconnect. We base these on various “standard templates” that our customers can use, but if you have specific needs, there is also the option to start from scratch with an empty flow.

WooCommerce plugin

Our plugin Kroconnect WooCommerce Connector has also received an update. Version 1.1.0 adds a new menu link in the WordPress admin called Kroconnect. Here you will find information on how to contact support, as well as a link to the Kroconnect web app where you can view your settings and search through logs.

The plugin also makes it possible to display the order number from the ERP system (SpecterVisma.net and Fortnox) in a new column on the order overview page in WooCommerce. This feature is controlled in the plugin settings.

Fixes and improvements

We have also made various general improvements to Kroconnect during the month:

  • Product sync WooCommerce to other systems – changes to product variations in WooCommerce now trigger a sync.
  • Product sync WooCommerce to other systems – added the ability to fetch data from a Kroconnect extension of the WooCommerce API (if it exists).
  • Product sync to WooCommerce – previously we assumed a certain unit for dimensions and weight. We now make a call to WooCommerce to fetch the current unit and then convert the value accordingly.
  • Product sync Specter to other systems – products flagged as deleted are no longer processed.
  • Product sync to Specter – a fix to ensure correct encoding is used for product names and other parameters.
  • Order data to Visma and Fortnox – prices with decimals are now sent correctly.
  • Use correct timestamp for Fortnox – previously UTC was used, but Fortnox uses local time.
